Welcome!

To a whole new look! It took some time (something that's limited these days) but it's finally here. We hope you find this site easy to navigate and read. Feel free to send along your tournament information, results, pictures... whatever. I'll do my best to get them posted in a timely fashion. 

You'll also notice a new category called "The Back Court". I guess the phrase that best describes this page is "and everything else". From tips to comments (from the webmaster and YOU) plus interesting videos... whatever, you'll find it on this page.  Also, for the time being, relevant web links (clubs and associations) will also be placed there. Please note, "The Back Court" is a work in progress, so visit it often for updated changes.

I hope you enjoy the site....because it's all about badminton and YOU!

  From the Prez.

As a the David Bowie song says "Cha Cha Changes"  and such is the case here at COBA. Ted Feather has decided to devote a little more time towards his personal life as his 2 year term as COBA president comes to an end. As a result, Ted is now officially COBA's "past president". I on the other hand was elected your new president during our annual spring meeting. I will also continue with my COBA PR role which includes looking after this website.

I look forward to picking up where Ted has left off (with the valuable assistance of my fellow COBA executive, club presidents, volunteers and all of our COBA members) in guiding our district towards future membership expansion and development. 

I'm also going to try to visit as many COBA clubs as possible during the upcoming badminton season. 

Remember, your COBA executive is here for you. If you have any any questions, concerns or if you need a bit of advice when facing a challenge at the club level please feel free to let us know (my email can be found in the welcome box above).

In the meantime, I hope you're having a great summer and remember a good defense is a good offence. (Or is that the other way around? )
